FIRST NATIONS, MÉTIS AND INUIT SERVICES
Eastglen is very proud and excited to be able to work alongside our three First Nations, Métis and Inuit High School Completion Coaches: Carrie Armstrong, Marissa Lewis and Sharon Bourque.
Our completion coaches build relationships that support our students’ successes at Eastglen. Their role is to support the achievement and well-being of First Nations, Métis and Inuit students. This includes providing support in the areas of high school graduation requirements, post-secondary and career planning, tutoring, academic and transition support, cultural connections and leadership opportunities.
Every Friday at lunch hour students and staff at the school have an opportunity to participate in a Smudging Ceremony.
The completion coaches are located in room 151. They look forward to connecting with our students and families.
