Sports Performance/Recreational Leadership

Have you ever thought about becoming a personal trainer? How about coaching a sports team? Perhaps a career as an athletic therapist or sports psychologist? In Sports Performance courses, students gain the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to understand and apply a wide range of factors related to athletic performance.

Through a combination of theoretical and practical lessons, students will learn and demonstrate outcomes related to athletic personal development. These skills will contribute to the building of a healthy approach to lifelong fitness and athletic performance and help to shape students into productive, caring citizens of our community.
